About BiGLATA
Mission
The Williams College Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender Alumni (BiGLATA) organization acts as a vital force within the Society of Alumni and the Williams College communities on behalf of the College's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) graduates. We provide opportunities for LGBT alumnae/i to network professionally and socially. We support LGBT students and organizations on campus. We strive to increase awareness of current issues affecting LGBT alumni and students and encourage informal coordination among Williams College administration, students, and alumni regarding these issues.
As a member, you have the opportunity to make new friends and keep in contact with old ones, stay informed about LGBT life at Williams, support LGBT experience on campus, and participate in social change at Williams and other educational institutions.
Membership is open and free of charge to all Williams College alumni who are supportive of LGBT minorities and our mission — regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
